Dr. Elizabeth is the Director of Programs, HECTA consulting ltd, a healthcare consulting firm in Africa with its headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya. She is currently a consultant in health systems strengthening focusing Healthcare financing and is currently serving in project aimed at supporting the counties to improve PHC financing.

She is a medical doctor with a MBA-Healthcare management degree with a focus on health financing. She has over 9 years’ experience in the Kenya health sector working in various capacities from clinical, teaching and management positions.

Elizabeth has served as the Kenya Medical Association (KMA) CEO, the national association representing medical doctors in Kenya . In this role, she worked with national government and counties to develop various policies and has supported counties to implement various laws. She has participated in various health policy formulation processes and is a member of various Ministry of Health Technical Working groups. Elizabeth is also an entrepreneur in health sector and currently runs Equity Afia medical centre, Upperhill.
